Mesiniaga Bags RM135.58 Mln MOF Contract To Provide Product Marking Tech

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- Mesiniaga Bhd has secured a RM135.58 million contract from the Finance Ministry, excluding government sales and service tax, to provide marking technology, system development services and comprehensive hardware.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, it said the project involves supplying 2.6 billion markings for cigarette and alcoholic beverage products to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department.

"The contract, effective Oct 1, 2025, ends by Sept 30, 2030, with no automatic renewal.

"The contract will not affect the company’s share capital and holdings of substantial shareholders. It is, however, expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 onwards until the contract expires," it said.
