FBM KLCI Futures Close On A High Note

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Friday.

At the close, spot month September 2025 and December 2025 added 11.0 points each to 1,588.5 and 1,579.5, respectively. October 2025 was 10.5 points better at 1,584.5, while March 2026 was 14.5 points higher at 1,560.5.

Turnover improved to 3,789 lots from 3,099 lots yesterday, while open interest increased to 41,317 contracts from 39,994 contracts previously.

The FBM KLCI jumped 17.28 points to 1,600.13 from Thursday’s close of 1,582.85. 

 Bursa Malaysia will be closed on Sept 15, which is an additional public holiday in conjunction with Malaysia Day on Sept 16, and will resume operations on Sept 17.
