KLCI Futures Firmer At Open

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher on Thursday.

At 9.44 am, spot month August 2025 added 3.5 points to 1,591.5, September 2025 improved two points to 1,565.0, December 2025 increased 2.5 points to 1,560.5, while March 2026 was flat at 1,541.5

Turnover was 4,066 lots, with open interest at 70,811 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI improved 3.34 points to 1,591.25 after 48 minutes of trading, against Wednesday’s close of 1,587.91.
