FBM KLCI Futures End Higher In Tandem With Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 27 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the underlying cash market’s performance.

At the close, the spot-month August 2025 contract rose 13.5 points to 1,588.0, September 2025 gained 10 points to 1,563.0, December 2025 increased 3.0 points to 1,558.0, and March 2026 expanded 3.5 points to 1,541.5.

Turnover surged to 81,488 lots from 49,511 lots on Tuesday, while open interest increased to 133,389 contracts from 95,740 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI added 6.32 points, or 0.4 per cent, to settle at 1,587.91, from Tuesday’s close of 1,581.59.
