OCK Group Considering Listing Subsidiaries On ACE Market

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 26 (Bernama) -- OCK Group Bhd is considering listing its 52.0 per cent subsidiary, EI Power Technologies Sdn Bhd, and its subsidiaries, EI Power Nexus Sdn Bhd and EI Power (Thailand) Co Ltd, on the ACE Market of Bursa Securities. 

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, OCK said the proposed listing will be made via its listing vehicle, EI Power Bhd (EIP). 

“Details of the proposed listing have yet to be finalised at this juncture, as the proposed listing is still in the preliminary stage and preparatory work is still ongoing,” it said. 

OCK said that implementing the proposed listing is also subject to the approvals being obtained from Bursa Securities and other relevant authorities as well as the shareholders of OCK.

“As such, it is pertinent for the shareholders to note that the proposed listing may or may not materialise, as there is no assurance that the proposed listing will be implemented as anticipated.

“A detailed announcement will be made to Bursa Securities upon finalising the details of the proposed listing,” it added. 

M&A Securities has been appointed as the adviser and sponsor for the proposed listing.
