FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 22 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contracts on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mostly today, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, spot-month August 2025 perked 10 points to 1,604, September 2025 and December 2025 added 10.5 points each to 1,582.5 and 1,582.5, respectively, while March 2026 was 6.5 points higher at 1,564.5.

Turnover rose to 7,050 lots from 6,421 lots on Thursday, while open interest increased to 45,470 contracts from 45,312 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.60 points, or 0.29 per cent, to settle at 1,597.47, from Thursday’s close of 1,592.87.
