FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 18 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, spot month August 2025 added 6.0 points to 1,583.0, September 2025 gained 7.0 points to 1,563.0, while December 2025 and March 2026 improved 8.0 points each to 1,563.50 and 1,548.0, respectively.

Turnover declined to 5,843 lots from Friday’s 6,583 lots, while open interest decreased to 44,057 contracts from 44,964 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 8.62 points, or 0.55 per cent, to close at 1,584.96 from Friday’s close of 1,576.34.
