FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, spot month August 2025 and March 2026 fell eight points each to 1,577.0 and 1,540.0, respectively, while September 2025 and December 2025 eased 8.5 points each to 1,556.0 and 1,555.50. 

Turnover declined to 6,583 lots from yesterday’s 10,682 lots, while open interest decreased to 44,964 contracts from 49,153 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 4.71 points, or 0.30 per cent, to close at 1,576.34 from yesterday’s close of 1,581.05.
