FBM KLCI Futures Open Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower today.

As at 10.05 am, the spot month August 2025 contract decreased 5.50 points to 1,579.50, September 2025 went down 7.0 points to 1,557.50, while December 2025 and March 2026 fell 8.0 points each to 1,556.0 and 1,540.0.

Turnover stood at 2,147 lots, with open interest at 41,986 contracts.

The benchmark FBM KLCI slid 5.84 points to 1,575.21 after one hour and 12 minutes of trading, compared with yesterday’s close of 1,581.05.
