FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 14 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, in tandem with the underlying cash market. 

At the close, spot month August 2025 fell 10.0 points to 1,585.0, September 2025 reduced 9.0 points to 1,564.50, December 2025 trimmed 15.0 points to 1,564.0, and March 2026 went down 11.50 points to 1,548.0.

Turnover improved to 10,682 lots from yesterday’s 10,191 lots, while open interest increased to 49,153 contracts from 48,018 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI eased 5.55 points, or 0.35 per cent, to close at 1,581.05, compared to yesterday’s close of 1,586.60.
