FBM KLCI Futures End Mixed

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 12 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended mixed today.

At the close, spot month August 2025 contract eased 1.0 point to 1,567.50, September 2025 added 0.50 points to 1,548.50, December 2025 rose 3.0 points to 1,551.0, and March 2026 edged down 0.50 points to 1,531.0.

Turnover improved to 6,627 lots from yesterday’s 5,886 lots, while open interest expanded to 44,821 contracts from 43,654 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 4.66 points, or 0.30 per cent, to close at 1,567.90 from yesterday’s close of 1,563.24.
