FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Friday, tracking gains from the underlying cash market.

At the close, spot month August 2025 gained 5.0 points to 1,556.0, September 2025 and December 2025 rose 4.5 points each to 1,535.0 and 1,535.0, respectively, and March 2026 climbed 4.0 points to 1,520.5.

Turnover decreased to 4,463 lots from 5,477 on Thursday, while open interest inched down to 42,137 contracts from 42,927 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 7.87 points or 0.51 per cent to close at 1,556.98 from Thursday’s close of 1,549.11.
