Annum To Be Delisted From Bursa Securities On Aug 12

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 (Bernama) --  Annum Bhd will be delisted from the Official List of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd (Bursa Securities) on Aug 12, 2025, following the rejection of its appeal for more time to submit a regularisation plan.

In two separate filings with Bursa Malaysia today, Annum said Bursa Securities had dismissed its application for a six-month extension to submit the plan and decided to proceed with the delisting.

“In the circumstance, the company’s securities will be removed from the Official List of Bursa Securities on Aug 12, 2025, two market days from the date of the notice,” it said, citing a letter from the exchange.

It said that upon delisting, shareholders would hold shares that are no longer quoted or traded on Bursa Securities.

“The interests and rights of the shareholders will remain safeguarded under the Companies Act 2016,” it added.

Annum also said the company would continue to operate as an unlisted entity following the delisting.
