FBM KLCI Futures Close Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Tuesday.

At the close, the spot month of August 2025 and September 2025 gained 9.0 points each to 1,539.50 and 1,519.0, December 2025 rose 8.0 points to 1,519.0, and March 2026 was 12.0 points higher at 1,507.0.

Turnover rose to 5,756 lots from 6,905 on Monday, while open interest inched up to 42,660 contracts from 42,085 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 11.66 points, or 0.76 per cent, to close at 1,538.64 from Monday’s close of 1,526.98.
