FBM KLCI Futures End Mostly Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 4 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed mostly higher on Monday.

At the close, the spot month of August 2025 gained 1.5 points to 1,530.50, September 2025 rose one point to 1,510.0 and December 2025 edged up two points to 1,511.0. However, March 2026 was 2.5 points lower at 1,495.0.

Turnover rose to 6,905 lots from 6,107 on Friday, while open interest grew to 42,085 contracts from 41,270 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 6.37 points or 0.42 per cent to close at 1,526.98 from last Friday’s close of 1,533.35.
