Maybank Appoints Malique Firdauz As New Officer-In-Charge Of Maybank Islamic

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 1 (Bernama) -- Maybank has appointed its current chief financial officer Malique Firdauz Ahmad Sidique as officer-in-charge (OIC) for Maybank’s group chief executive officer (CEO), Islamic Banking and CEO, Maybank Islamic Bhd (MIB) effective today. 

He succeeded Nor Shahrizan Sulaiman, the current OIC, group CEO, Islamic Banking and CEO, MIB, who decided to pursue other professional interests outside of the group. 

Maybank president and group CEO Datuk Sri Khairussaleh Ramli said the company extended their deepest gratitude to Nor Shahrizan for his 16 years of service to the group, managing his responsibilities as OIC alongside his role as deputy CEO of MIB and head of community banking.

“Malique Firdauz will take on the day-to-day management of MIB in addition to his current duties until a new CEO, MIB is appointed,” the bank said in a statement today.
