FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 30 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower on Wednesday.

At the close, the July 2025 contract decreased by 0.5 points to 1,527.50. The August 2025 and September 2025 contracts each fell by 1.0 points, closing at 1,523.0 and 1,505.0, respectively, while the December 2025 contract dropped by 3.5 points to 1,504.0.

Turnover fell to 16,709 lots from 76,300 on Tuesday, while open interest slipped to 54,426 contracts from 120,115  previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) inched up 0.68 of a point, or 0.05 per cent, to close at 1,524.50 from Tuesday’s close of 1,523.82.
