FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Thursday in tandem with the stronger underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the July 2025 contract rose 3.0 points to 1,537.0, the August 2025 and September 2025 contracts were up 3.5 points each to 1,534 and 1,515.5 respectively, and the December 2025 contract advanced 2.5 points to 1,516.0.

Turnover slipped to 4,013 lots from 3,814 lots yesterday, while open interest grew to 39,381 contracts from 38,937 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI gained 10.53 points, or 0.69 per cent, to close at an intra-day high of 1,540.32, compared to Wednesday’s close of 1,529.79.
