FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher on Wednesday, in tandem with the stronger underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the July 2025, August 2025, and September 2025 contracts were 14.5 points better at 1,534.0, 1,530.5 and 1,512.0, respectively, while December 2025 note advanced 12.5 points to 1,513.5.

Turnover slipped to 3,814 lots from 4,006 lots yesterday, while open interest improved to 38,937 contracts from 38,450 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI bounced 10.39 points, or 0.68 per cent, to close at an intra-day high of 1,529.79 from yesterday’s close of 1,519.40.
