Wemade Max’s ‘Lost Sword’ Debuts Globally After 1 Mln Pre-registrations

KUALA LUMPUR, July 11 (Bernama) -- South Korean game publisher Wemade Max has launched the global version of its subculture mobile role-playing game (RPG) ‘Lost Sword’, published by subsidiary Wemade Connect and developed by Codecat.

Wemade Connect Business Director, Song Moon-ha said the game is finely tuned to meet the expectations of subculture RPG fans worldwide.

“We have prepared a wide array of rewards and updates in response to the strong interest generated during the pre-registration period,” he said in a statement.

Originally released in Korea in January, ‘Lost Sword’ has garnered widespread acclaim for its high-quality gameplay, engaging characters, and dynamic visuals. The global rollout, announced in May, targets major markets including North America and Europe.

Ahead of its July 10 launch, over one million players signed up for pre-registration. As a reward, all participants will receive premium in-game items, including diamonds, gold, the five-star healer character ‘Guinevere’, and the five-star pet ‘Elizabeth’.

Wemade Connect is also introducing NEO Bedivere, a newly enhanced character featured in an animated promotional video. The video traces her transformation and ties to the main storyline.

‘Lost Sword’ updates and community activities are available through its official site and social media channels, including YouTube, Discord, and TikTok.
