Econpile Secures RM27 Mln Piling Contract In Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- Construction firm Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a RM27 million contract for piling and pile cap works for two 37-storey serviced apartment blocks in Kelana Jaya, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, by Bayu Melati Sdn Bhd.

The project, located at Lot 72699, Off Jalan SS8/6, comprises 1,155 apartment units and is scheduled for completion within 12 months from July 14, 2025.

Econpile said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its revenue and earnings for the financial year ending June 30, 2026.

“There are no foreseeable significant risks beyond the usual operational risks during the contract period,” it noted, adding that mitigation measures would be in place to minimise potential impacts.

The company also confirmed that none of its directors, major shareholders, or connected persons have any interest in the project.
