FBM KLCI Futures Ends Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower on Wednesday.

At the close, the spot months of July 2025 and September 2025 fell 10.5 points each to 1,524.0 and 1,503.0, respectively, while August 2025 and December 2025 both declined 10.0 points to 1,521.50 and 1,502.0, respectively.

Turnover narrowed to 4,032 lots from 5,171 on Tuesday, while open interest reduced to 36,910 contracts from 37,565 previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 0.90 points or 0.06 per cent to 1,529.24 from Tuesday’s close of 1,530.14.
