Boyd Expands Liquid Cooling Portfolio With High-capacity Coolant Distribution Unit 

KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 (Bernama) -- Boyd has announced the launch of its ROL2300, a high-capacity liquid-to-liquid coolant distribution unit (CDU) designed to meet the demanding thermal needs of artificial intelligence-driven data centres.

According to Boyd in a statement, the new CDU is now available globally and delivers efficient cooling for over 10 NVL72 racks with a compact, in-row design.

“Every ROL2300 CDU design choice has been made to maximise data centre cooling and power efficiency in the most compact and reliable format possible.

“We are enabling our hyperscaler, colocation, and enterprise datacentre customers to maximise compute density and energy efficiency in modern data centres,” said Boyd Chief Technology Officer, Jerry Toth.

Engineered for maximum performance and uptime, the ROL2300 features N+1 hot-swappable pumps, redundant sensors, and standard front and rear French doors for easy maintenance.

It supports Modbus and BACnet protocols for seamless software integration and offers an optional automated transfer switch (ATS) to ensure uninterrupted operation during power outages.

Boyd manufactures the ROL2300 at scale across its facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific, enabling faster delivery and lower logistics costs. The unit is backed by Boyd’s global liquid systems service team with decades of CDU expertise.
