FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher on Tuesday.

At the close, the spot months of July 2025, September 2025 and December 2025 all increased by 2.0 points, reaching 1,534.50, 1,513.50 and 1,512.0, respectively. August 2025 gained 1.5 points to 1,531.50.

Turnover narrowed to 5,171 lots from 6,651 on Monday, while open interest reduced to 37,565 contracts from 38,018 previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) shed 7.40 points, or 0.48 per cent, to 1,530.14 from Monday’s close of 1,537.54.
