FBM KLCI Futures Open Mostly Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, July 8 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened mostly lower today.

At 9.30 am, the July 2025 contract dropped 1.0 point to 1,531.50, September 2025 fell 1.5 points to 1,510.0, and December 2025 declined 4.0 points to 1,506.0. However, the August 2025 note edged 1.0 point higher to 1,531.0.

Turnover stood at 1,254 lots, with open interest at 34,099 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI fell 9.85 points to 1,527.69 after 50 minutes of trading from last Monday’s close of 1,537.54
