Morningstar Unveils Free Investment Research Platform For Asia

KUALA LUMPUR, June 30 (Bernama) -- Morningstar Inc, a global leader in independent investment research, has launched a new Asia-focused digital investment research hub, offering region-specific data, tools, and insights to support informed financial decision-making.

The platform, which is free to access, is tailored to the unique needs of investors across Asia and forms part of Morningstar’s broader global strategy involving the rollout of 12 localised digital experiences in key markets.

In a statement, the company said the newly launched digital experience replaces older platforms and reaffirms the company's commitment to serving investors through locally relevant content supported by its independent global research capabilities.

“Our mission is to empower investor success, and this launch makes it easier for Asian investors to access trusted research that supports transparent and confident investing,” said Morningstar managing director of Southeast Asia, Shihan Abeyguna.

The new platform offers a wide range of features, including localised news and analysis on stocks, funds, markets and economic trends, helping users stay informed about region-specific developments.

It also includes interactive investment screeners that allow users to filter funds and stocks based on size, performance, risk level and ratings, aligning with individual investment goals.

Investors can create personalised watchlists, organising investments by strategy, region, or financial objective, with dynamic and unlimited tracking options.

Additionally, the hub provides enhanced research reports tailored to local regulatory environments, presenting critical data such as fund ratings, risk profiles, and performance metrics.

Morningstar’s platform is designed to be accessible for both new and experienced investors and includes free membership, unlocking premium insights, tools, and member-exclusive newsletters.

The launch marks a key milestone in Morningstar’s global digital transformation and aims to reinforce investor confidence across the fast-growing Asian markets.
