Pharmaniaga Among Most Active Stocks, Jumps 6.9 Pct To 23 Sen

KUALA LUMPUR, June 19 (Bernama) -- Pharmaniaga Bhd emerged as among the most active stocks in early trade today on news that the group would continue to stay in the black for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 (FY2025) after making a turnaround last year.

As at 10.19 am, Pharmaniaga's share price was 6.9 per cent, or 1.5 sen higher at 23 sen, with 4.34 million shares traded.

According to reports, the group is targeting to deliver FY2025 revenue of RM4 billion, up from RM3.8 billion in FY2024 - a level last seen in FY2021.

It anticipates a profit after tax of RM60 million, lower than the RM133.8 million recorded in FY2024, which had included a one-off penalty reversal from the government related to COVID-19 drug deliveries.

The group also plans to resume its dividend payouts once it is off the PN17 list of Bursa Malaysia.
