FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower, Tracking Cash Market

KUALA LUMPUR, June 17 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed lower today, tracking the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, spot month June 2025 erased 19.0 points to 1,508.0, July 2025 slipped 19.5 points to 1,505.0, September 2025 shed 18.5 points to 1,487.50, and December 2025 was 18.0 points lower at 1,493.0.

Turnover declined to 5,528 lots from 7,799 lots on Monday, while open interest reduced to 40,910 contracts from 43,722 yesterday.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI dropped 8.35 points, or 0.54 per cent, to 1,511.64 from Monday’s close of 1,519.99.
