Gold Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 11 (Bernama) -- The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today on improved appetite for the precious metal and a weaker US dollar.

The spot-month June 2025 contract rose to US$3,347.8 per troy ounce from Tuesday’s US$3,339.5 per troy ounce, while the July 2025 contract increased to US$3,356.3 per troy ounce from US$3,348.0 per troy ounce yesterday. 

The August, September, and October 2025 contracts improved to US$3,375.8 per troy ounce from US$3,365.3 per troy ounce previously. 

Trading volume declined to 38 lots versus 54 lots on Tuesday, while open interest was slightly higher at 84 contracts from 83 contracts. 

Physical gold was priced at US$3,337.7 per troy ounce, according to the London Bullion Market Association’s afternoon fix on June 10.
