FBM KLCI Futures Ends Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, June 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives closed higher today, tracking the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, spot month June 2025 and December 2025 contracts added 9.5 points to 1,516.0 and 1,504.0, respectively, July 2025 advanced 8.5 points to 1,513.0 and September 2025 gained 10 points to 1,497.5.

Turnover narrowed to 3,623 lots from 6,828 lots last Friday, while open interest slipped to 36,250 contracts from 37,381 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) perked up 2.62 points, or 0.17 per cent, to 1,519.41 from last Friday’s close of 1,516.79.
