MoneyHero, RCBC Partner To Expand Credit Card Access In The Philippines 

 KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- MoneyHero Limited, a personal finance aggregation and comparison platform, has entered into a strategic partnership with Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) to integrate RCBC’s range of credit card products into its digital platform in the Philippines.

The collaboration, conducted through RCBC’s credit card arm, RCBC Bankard Services Corp, will enable users to browse, compare, and apply for RCBC’s rewards, lifestyle, travel, and premium credit cards via the MoneyHero platform.

In a statement, MoneyHero said the partnership strengthens its position as a leading digital acquisition partner in Greater Southeast Asia while expanding RCBC’s digital distribution channels.

MoneyHero Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rohith Murthy said the collaboration aligns with the company’s mission to simplify financial choices and deepen its market penetration.

“By combining MoneyHero’s aggregation technology with RCBC’s credit card portfolio, we are empowering Filipino consumers to make informed financial decisions,” he said.

Meanwhile, RCBC Credit Cards President and CEO, Arniel Vincent B. Ong said the bank’s credit card portfolio recorded significant growth in 2024, with a 48 per cent rise in receivables and a 21 per cent increase in cards in force.

“Our partnership with MoneyHero will further support our digital expansion strategy and enhance accessibility to financial services,” he added.

The partnership aims to boost digital financial inclusion in the Philippines by leveraging technology and customer-focused innovation.
