Ameen Products Penetrate African Beverages Market

TELUK INTAN, June 4 (Bernama) -- Beverage product manufacturer Ameen Products Sdn Bhd has successfully penetrated the African market, receiving its first order to export seven flavours of the Ameen brand beverage product to Mali.

Managing director Mohammed Irfan Amanulla Khan said that 17,484 bottles, including mango, grape, pineapple, tropical, and rose syrup-flavoured bottles, produced by the company, were exported to the African country.

“I am very grateful that this beverage product was accepted in Africa as a result of my involvement in the Gulfood Exhibition 2025 in Dubai last February, where we received (inquiries from) potential buyers.

“We have several potential buyers from Senegal and South Africa during the exhibition, and we are currently in the negotiation process with them,” he said.

He made this statement to reporters during the product container release event, officiated by Perak state’s Women, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur Development, and Cooperatives Committee chairman Datuk Salbiah Mohamed at the Light Industry Park here yesterday.

Mohammed Irfan said that the total cost of exporting the beverage products was RM90,000.

He said the family legacy beverage product, which has been in operation since 1982, is also exported in various flavoured drinks to Singapore, Brunei, Mauritius, Fiji and Bahrain.
