FBM KLCI Futures Lower In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 (Bernama) -- FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded lower in early session on Thursday.

At 9.45 am, the spot month May 2025 contract shed 7.0 points to 1,519.0, June 2025 dropped 8.5 points to 1,514.0, September 2025 declined 9.5 points to 1,497.0, and December 2025 eased 5.5 points to 1,507.0.

Turnover amounted to 8,524 lots, with open interest at 51,579 contracts.

The underlying FBM KLCI slipped 1.98 points to 1,521.50 after 44 minutes of trading, compared with Wednesday’s close of 1,523.48.
