MGCC Hosts German Aerospace Delegation In Malaysia On May 26–30, 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, May 27 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MGCC) is hosting a German aerospace and aviation delegation from May 26 to 30, 2025.

The event brings together leading German technology providers and Malaysian industry players for a week-long engagement to foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and strategic collaboration.

"This initiative, supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy under the Market Development programme aims to foster meaningful connections between the two countries’ aerospace sectors.

"Through this delegation, MGCC is creating a dynamic platform for business networking, technological exchange, and the development of long-term partnerships," it said in a statement today.

MGCC said the business delegation programme will feature a conference on May 27, titled Industry Outlook: Potential and Challenges of the Aviation and Aerospace Industry in Malaysia, local perspectives, growth and infrastructure, innovation spotlight, and market trends, as well as individual  business matching sessions.

The programme is organised with support from key Malaysian  industry bodies, including the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia and the  Malaysia Aerospace Industry Association, in collaboration with SBS systems for business solutions (SBS).

MGCC executive director Jan Noether said the delegation visit underscores their commitment to facilitate meaningful partnerships that  contribute to the growth of Malaysia’s aerospace sector.

"By connecting local stakeholders with German expertise, we aim to strengthen the industry’s global competitiveness, drive sustainable economic development, and accelerate the adoption of innovative technologies that will define the future of aerospace," he said.

The initiative will bring together eight leading German technology providers in aircraft design, precision tooling, maintenance, repair and overhaul, and production technologies to engage with Malaysian stakeholders.

The companies are AID GmbH, August Rüggeberg GmbH & Co. KG,  FlexiCAM GmbH, Herzog GmbH, Hufschmied Zerspanungssysteme GmbH, Inspire SSA GmbH, KRD  Luftfahrttechnik GmbH and MKV GmbH.
