FBM KLCI Futures Close Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, May 26 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today, tracking the weaker performance of the underlying cash market.

At the close, May 2025 and June 2025 fell 19.5 points each to 1,533.50 and 1,533.0, respectively, September 2025 shed 19 points to 1,518.50 and December 2025 dropped 20.5 points to 1,525.00.

Turnover jumped to 18,309 lots from 5,451 lots last Friday, while open interest was higher at 53,742 contracts compared to 39,659 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI dipped 1.08 points, or 0.07 per cent, to 1,534.30 from Friday’s close of 1,535.38.
