WeMade Max’s ‘Lost Sword’ Begins Global Pre-registration Ahead Of July Launch

KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 (Bernama) -- Wemade Max has officially launched global pre-registration for its subculture mobile role-playing game (RPG), ‘Lost Sword’, developed by Codecat and published by Wemade Max’s subsidiary, Wemade Connect.

Following its highly successful debut in South Korea in January, where it topped the subculture RPG charts in downloads and revenue within 50 days, the game is now preparing for release in North America and Europe this July, according to a statement.

Codecat chief executive officer, Kim Je-hun highlighted the game’s wide appeal, noting that ‘Lost Sword’ delivers a smooth and accessible experience across devices, combining intuitive gameplay with high-end character design—factors that set it apart in the global market.

“We encourage everyone to join the pre-registration event to unlock even greater rewards as the participant count increases,” he said.

Available for pre-registration on Google Play and the Apple App Store until July 9, ‘Lost Sword’ has drawn praise for its high production quality, compelling character design, and the integration of idle RPG mechanics with rich content variety.

To celebrate the global rollout, pre-registering players will receive escalating in-game rewards—including diamonds, gold, and a five-star healer character 'Guinevere'— as participant milestones hit 100,000, 200,000, 350,000, and 500,000.

Additionally, the company plans to collaborate with local partners for the game’s launch in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in the latter half of the year.

The official release date will be revealed soon via the game’s brand website and social media channels.
