AEON Credit Issues Ninth Sukuk Wakalah Of RM400 Mln

KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- AEON Credit Service (M) Bhd has made its ninth issuance of senior sukuk under its RM5 billion Sukuk Wakalah programme.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, it said the issuance of RM400 million in nominal value with a seven year-year tenure was conducted today (May 20, 2025). 

"The proceeds will be utilised for financing disbursements to customers in the ordinary course of consumer financing based on Shariah principles, as well as refinancing any existing loans or financing, including any sukuk issued by the company.

"All utilisation of proceeds under the Sukuk Wakalah Programme shall be Shariah-compliant," said AEON Credit.
