FBM KLCI Futures Mostly Higher In Early Trade

KUALA LUMPUR, May 20 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives trended mostly higher in early trade on Tuesday.

At 9.40 am, the spot month May 2025 contract trimmed 0.5 of-a-point to 1,552.5, June 2025 added 0.5 of-a-point to 1,553.0, September 2025 increased by 5.5 points to 1,543.0, and December 2025 gained 1.5 points to 1,547.0.

Turnover amounted to 1,230 lots, with open interest at 35,891 contracts.

However, the underlying FBM KLCI fell 3.83 points to 1,552.31 after 40 minutes of trading, compared to Monday’s close of 1,556.14.
