FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, April 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today, in line with the cash market’s performance.

The April 2025 and September 2025 contracts went up 3.5 points each to 1,500.0 and 1,481.50, respectively. May 2025 added 2.5 points to 1,499.0, and June 2025 gained 4.5 points to 1,497.50.

Turnover jumped to 27,880 lots from 20,286 lots yesterday, and open interest expanded to 68,239 contracts from 59,269 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 5.33 points, or 0.36 per cent, to 1,506.52 from Wednesday’s close of 1,501.19.
