FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today as traders remain cautious ahead of the trade talks between the United States and Japan this Thursday, said an analyst.

April 2025 shed 4.5 points to 1,475.0, while May 2025, June 2025, and September 2025 eased 5.5 points to 1,472.5, 1,469.5 and 1,455.0 respectively.

Turnover fell to 7,437 lots from 8,272 lots yesterday, and open interest declined to 44,387 contracts against 44,541 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI improved 5.57 points to 1,486.43 from Monday’s close of 1,480.86.
