KLCI Futures Rise In Early Trading

KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives rose sharply Monday morning, mirroring early strength in the cash market.

At 9.21 am, April 2025 and June 2025 contracts gained 24.5 points each to 1,472.5 and 1,467.5 respectively. May 2025 added 23.5 points to 1,470.0, while September 2025 increased 24.0 points to 1,454.0.  

Turnover stood at 1,361 lots, with open interest at 38,325 contracts.  

Meanwhile, the FBM KLCI advanced 20.99 points to 1,475.75 after 42 minutes of trading, compared with Friday’s close of 1,454.76.
