FBM KLCI Futures End Easier

KUALA LUMPUR, April 9 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives retreated to end lower on Wednesday in line with the underlying cash market performance.

At the close, the April 2025 contract fell 33.5 points to 1,405.5, May 2025 and June 2025 lost 34.5 points each to 1,402.0 and 1,400.0, while September 2025 trimmed 32.5 points to 1,388.5.

Turnover advanced to 18,036 lots from 11,826 lots yesterday, while open interest expanded to 54,219 contracts from 48,708 contracts previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI slipped 42.97 points, or 2.98 per cent, to 1,400.59 from Tuesday’s close of 1,443.56.
