FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower today in line with the underlying cash market.

The spot-month March 2025 contract shrank 4.5 points to 1,513.0, April 2025 fell 3.5 points to 1,516.0, June 2025 eased four points to 1,518.0, and September 2025 erased six points to 1,505.0.  

Turnover increased to 15,583 lots from 8,328 lots on last Friday, while open interest advanced to 50,468 contracts from 41,973 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 10.81 points, or 0.70 per cent, to 1,536.46 from last Friday’s close of 1,547.27.
