Kerjaya Prospek Bags RM51.03 Mln Contract In Penang

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 (Bernama) -- Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd, has received a contract from Persada Mentari Sdn Bhd (PMSB) to execute and complete piling and earthworks for a proposed service apartment in Penang, valued at RM51.03 million.

It said the contract covers the execution and completion of the foundation piling system and pile caps, construction of a basement and two levels of lower ground and all associated site and earthworks for a proposed service apartment project at Bandar Tanjung Pinang, Pulau Andaman.

“The contract shall commence on April 1, 2025, and to be completed within 12 months from the commencement date,” the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia today.

Kerjaya Prospek said the acceptance of the contract is in the ordinary course of the group’s business and is undertaken on an arm’s length basis, based on normal commercial terms, which were not more favourable than those generally available to the public.

In addition, it said the contract is expected to provide an additional stream of revenue for the group over the next year.

“The contract will have no effect on the issued share capital of the company, but it is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial years ending 2025 to 2026,” it added.
