Under the strategic partnership, U Mobile and CUMY will leverage their respective strengths to develop enterprise solutions, with a focus on the internet of vehicles (IoV) and the integration of IoT ecosystems into transport and urban infrastructure to shape the future of smart cities.

“U Mobile and CUMY will also co-develop end-to-end digital solutions tailored for key industries such as agriculture, manufacturing, and oil and gas, ensuring seamless connectivity to enhance operational efficiency,” the companies said.

U Mobile, chief information officer, Neil Tomkinson, said that as Malaysia’s future second 5G network provider, U Mobile is committed to supporting the country’s ambition of becoming a high-income digital nation.
