Veson Nautical, Cargill Strengthen Partnership To Drive Maritime Digital Transformation

KUALA LUMPUR, March 6 (Bernama) -- Veson Nautical (Veson), a global leader in maritime data and freight management solutions, has expanded its long-term partnership with Cargill to accelerate digital transformation in the maritime sector.

According to a statement, under the new Strategic Technology Agreement, Cargill Ocean Transportation business will gain broad access to Veson’s portfolio, including data intelligence capabilities and artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled collaborative workflow solution Shipfix.

Building upon their success in utilising the Veson IMOS Platform, Cargill aims to simplify their technology ecosystem while driving efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across its global shipping operations.

Veson President and Chief Operating Officer, Sean Riley expressed excitement over the extended partnership, emphasising how Veson's comprehensive solutions are helping clients, like Cargill, move the maritime industry forward.

Meanwhile, Cargill Ocean Transportation business Strategy and Digitalization Lead, Eric Aboussouan highlighted the seamless integration of their systems and how Veson’s industry-leading digital solutions will enhance visibility, efficiency, and control in freight procurement processes.

In addition to improving internal efficiencies, a key aspect of the collaboration is improving customer experience by integrating proprietary data, supplier information, and insights into a unified platform.

This solution will enhance Cargill's and the shipping industry's ability to make faster, data-driven decisions and stay compliant with industry regulations such as those from the International Maritime Organization and FuelEU initiatives.
