FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower, in line with the underlying cash market’s performance. 

The spot-month February 2025 contract eased 5.0 points to 1,578.5 and March 2025 fell 22.0 points to 1,542.0. 

June 2025 and September 2025 declined 21.0 points each to 1,545.5 and 1,532.0, respectively. 

Turnover reduced to 15,185 lots from 19,713 lots on Thursday, while open interest narrowed to 49,479 contracts from 56,694 contracts previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 11.90 points to 1,574.70 from Thursday's close of 1,586.60.
