Hytera To Present Innovative 4G/5G RAN Solutions At MWC 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Hytera Communications, a global provider of professional communications technologies and solutions, is set to present its cutting-edge 4G/5G Radio Access Network (RAN) solutions at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, taking place from March 3 to 6, with a special focus on its innovative Macro Base Station.

Hytera’s 4G/5G solutions are designed to meet the growing demands of mobile network operators (MNOs) and private LTE users requiring high-speed, reliable connectivity, aiming to bring more flexible and efficient network deployment and connectivity experiences to the global communications market.

In a statement, Hytera President of MBB Product Line, Yunxia Yang said the company’s solutions are designed to evolve with changing network needs, ensuring adaptability as technologies progress, and highlighted that while 4G LTE remains strong, 5G presents significant opportunities for vertical industries, and Hytera aims to continue driving innovation in mobile broadband.

Its broadband solutions are built on advanced software and hardware architecture, particularly the BBU5801M, a 4G&5G Dual Mode Baseband Unit, which supports up to six baseband boards, 18 LTE cells, and up to 5,400 active users.

This scalability ensures that operators can manage growing user demand and increasing data needs, optimising network resource allocation and enhancing overall network efficiency and user experience. The system is compatible with Non-Standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) architectures, allowing more cost-effective and rapid deployment of 5G networks.

The RRU5800 and RRU5801 Remote Radio Units provide robust transmission capabilities, supporting major LTE frequency bands, with the RRU5801 offering up to 60 watts (W) per channel. These units are designed to maintain stable network performance, even in high-density environments, and offer flexible deployment options to suit different regions and network sizes.

Hytera’s technology also includes dual carriers, carrier aggregation, MIMO, and 256QAM modulation, which enhances spectral efficiency, data transfer speed, and network stability. These features are critical for applications such as the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities, and autonomous vehicles, where high-speed, low-latency connectivity is essential.

Hytera has a strong track record in the Professional Mobile Radio (PMR) industry, having deployed over 4,000 PMR networks and providing critical communication solutions to over 18 million industry users worldwide.

Since launching its 4G broadband solutions in 2017, the company has built a strong presence in the broadband market, forming valuable partnerships along the way. At MWC 2025, Hytera invites MNOs, LTE operators, and industry professionals to explore its RAN solutions.
