FBM KLCI Futures End Lower

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended lower in line with the cash market performance. 

The spot-month February 2025 contract fell 6.5 points to 1,583.0, March 2025 slipped 7.5 points to 1,562.0, June 2025 declined 8.0 points to 1,566.0, and September 2025 declined 9.0 points to 1,554.0. 

Turnover jumped to 22,008 lots from 7,560 lots on Friday, while open interest increased to 58,959 contracts from 43,920 previously. 

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI fell 6.78 points, or 0.43 per cent, to 1,584.25 from Friday’s close of 1,591.03.
