FBM KLCI Futures End Higher

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 21 (Bernama) -- The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher in line with the positive cash market performance.

The spot-month February 2025 contract gained 11.5 points to 1,589.5, while March 2025 and June 2025 added 12.5 points each to 1,569.5 and 1,574.0, respectively, and September 2025 firmed 12 points to 1,563.0.

Turnover fell to 7,560 lots from 8,055 lots on Thursday, while open interest increased to 43,920 contracts from 43,434 previously.

At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI rose 13.36 points, or 0.84 per cent, to 1,591.03 from Thursday’s close of 1,577.67.
